Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Americas, Inc. Corrugating Machinery Division has confirmed the successful startup of North America’s first MPF-MII Prefeeder.
Designed for seamless integration with high-speed top printing FFGs, including MHIA’s EVOL 84 and EVOL 100, the MPF-MII delivers continuous, stable sheet feeding that reduces downtime and maximizes throughput for demanding production environments.
The MPF-MII represents MHIA’s commitment to advancing corrugated box plant technology through high-performance equipment. With its robust design, the MPF-MII achieves stable stacking, feeding, and first bundling through a series of engineered features, including a middle hopper, swing conveyor, and independent drive ejection belt. Capable of handling both singlewall and doublewall sheets, the prefeeder also boasts a lifting device that reverses sheet stacks, ensuring smooth and uninterrupted operation.

A second MPF-MII installation is slated for early 2025.
