As of January 1, 2026, MBO Group and Komori Europe, by mutual agreement, conclude their long-standing cooperation with Heinrich Baumann GmbH. This change affects the areas of sales and service of MBO folding and finishing machines as well as Komori printing presses.
“We sincerely thank Christian Baumann and his entire team for their excellent and always trusting cooperation. Together we have achieved significant success over many years and have positioned the Komori and MBO brand very strongly in Germany. Our friendly relationship will continue — whether within the Postpress Alliance or at the Komori Open House on November 26 and 27, 2025, in Utrecht. Our shared journey continues, albeit in a new and forward-looking form,” says Thomas Heininger, CEO, Komori Europe and MBO Group.
Effective January 1, 2026, Komori Europe and MBO Group will open Komori Germany GmbH (KGG). It will provide sales and service for both Komori printing systems and MBO folding and finishing solutions in Germany. This unified structure strengthens market presence and delivers seamless, high-quality support across both product portfolios. Komori Germany will operate in close cooperation with Komori Europe and MBO Group, gaining direct access to both manufacturers’ technical knowledge, innovation resources, and product development. At the same time, regional support through the long-standing partner company Steuber will remain fully in place for the MBO product portfolio.
Through Komori Germany, customers will experience a customer-centric organisation and benefit from enhanced technological synergies, innovative end-to-end solutions, and a single reliable point of contact for all Komori and MBO products and services — laying the foundation for a stronger, more connected future. Komori Germany will provide the German market with an integrated sales and service platform that unites Komori’s expertise in sheetfed offset, packaging, and digital printing systems with MBO’s leadership in folding, robotic, and finishing technologies.
