Ian Mansfield, MD at UK-based Mansfield Board Machinery Ltd, tells us how 2018 – their 40th Anniversary year has been for them as one of Britain’s leading suppliers of tooling for the corrugated industry.
“As we celebrated this milestone, it has not been a case of ‘resting on our laurels’. On the contrary, we have continued to work hard to uphold our standards that underpin the company ethos. With a flurry of unplanned staff changes occurring, it has reminded us that change is inevitable and requires dynamic and adaptive management to stay on track.
Fortunately, the team always meet these challenges with a level of commitment and determination to be proud of. With Nikki Bratherton recently appointed General Manager, we met an unusually high number of changes that we managed together – she is a great support! This year has re-affirmed to us that change is best welcomed, as it brings opportunity to improve, albeit not always immediately!
