Marbach has recently introduced to the market its new manual device — marbanick|2+ — for the insertion of waste nicks in cutting rules. Since its launch, the company has already been able to supply many customers with this new solution.
The marbanick|2+ is impressive with its integrated quick-change function, which allows the speedy exchange of wedges of different widths. Furthermore, due to its special design, different impact levels are possible in one device.
Nicks ensure smooth transport of the sheet through the die-cutting machine. Waste nicks are required for a stripping system to function optimally. The nicks should be precise and reproducible. Subsequent optimisation of these nicks must therefore be quick and easy for the machine operator.
Marbach developer, Sascha Wormser, said, “The marbanick|2+ combines several functions in one single device. Furthermore, it has an integrated quick-change function which allows the tool-free changing of carbide wedges of different widths. For the user this means good handling combined with noticeable time saving when inserting waste nicks. The special design of the marbanick|2+ creates precise nicks for optimum stripping processes.”
