Marbach has just launched its latest product, the high-performance rubber, marbaject. This has been specially designed for the corrugated board (flat and rotary).
The rubbering of a cutting-die has a significant influence on the performance of the die-cutter; this is because it fixes the die-cutting sheet material during the cutting process. Thanks to its elastic properties, the sheet is prevented from getting stuck in the cutting-die. The ejection rubber also supports the strength of the nick. Perfectly executed rubbering is particularly important at high speeds of the die-cutter, but also for complex package layouts.
