Baddi, India-based Mahalaxmi Packaging has ordered a new BOBST Novafold 110 A2 folder gluer. The order was confirmed at the Pamex 2023 expo in Mumbai, with the machine expected to be installed this summer.
Mahalaxmi Packaging, which has been manufacturing corrugated packaging since 2016, is now diversifying into folding carton as well. The Novafold 110 A2 folder gluer is able to run 4 and 6-corner cartons and also features a special corrugated kit with extended delivery.
“We are branching out into cartons as we have customers in corrugated, who require folding cartons as well,” says Raman Aggarwal, Director, Mahalaxmi Packaging. “We also want to generate new customers in the folding carton market as well.”
