Lübecker Industrie Services (L.I.S.) has installed the first Xianghan Group double tape head application line in Germany. The new line, installed in October, handles L.I.S’ demands for a growing portfolio of reusable packaging. The machine was sold by Alex Steinmuller of SCS GmbH.
The 2.200 mm x 1.200 mm double tape head application machine has a modular design, which can be set up either as a straight line machine or with a 90° feeder/exit (U-Shape or twisted double L shape).
There is a possibility to set up both Hot-Melt heads, the two tape application heads and the tear tape head, but the operator can also just set a single unit.
The Hot-Melt system is supplied by 50 litre KAS Gluing Systems and installed with the wide glue application heads.
