Boras, Sweden-based Lamina System AB has confirmed it completed the installation of a Lamina SA mounting machine successfully in January 2023 at Wallace Carlson, based in Minnetonka, MN.
“The Lamina SA mounting machine was procured to meet the increasing demand on litho-laminating and on some speciality products that we produce,” explains Charlie Cox, COO, Wallace Carlson.

The Lamina SA is a sheet-to-sheet semi-automatic laminating/mounting machine. It has an automatic suction cup feeder for bottom sheets and a hand fed operation for top sheets. The machine is operator-friendly, and because of the modular construction it allows upgrading to fully automatic with little or no disruption.
Wallace Carlson Printing was founded in 1931; they are a full-service, commercial print, packaging and direct mail provider located in Minnetonka, Minneapolis. They currently occupy two locations with a total of 85,000 sq ft and excel in a wide range of services, including prepress, offset printing, digital printing, finishing, kitting, assembling, promotional products, list management, fulfilment and mailing.
