LEONHARD KURZ has received an EcoVadis Silver Medal for its sustainability performance in 2026, ranking among the top 15% of companies assessed worldwide and the top 10% within its industry.
The company improved its ratings compared with the previous year, particularly in environmental standards and ethics, despite stricter assessment criteria.
“Sustainability is not a short-term trend for us, but a long-term commitment that requires perseverance and consistent action,” said Dr Andreas Hirschfelder, Member of the Executive Board. “The recognition from EcoVadis confirms that we have taken important steps in the right direction over the past few years.”
Kurz continues to invest in sustainability measures, including photovoltaic systems, thermal energy storage and recycling initiatives, alongside efforts to reduce energy consumption, emissions and material use.
