Giovanni Bettini, Sales Director of MHI Europe, has confirmed the company recently signed a sales contract with leading German independent corrugated packaging producer, Klingele Paper and Packaging Group, for the supply of an EVOL 100 flexo folder gluer.
The high speed casemaker, which will be installed at Klingele’s plant in Delmenhorst in the Spring of 2022, will be fitted with Mitsubishi’s MPF Pre-feeder unit to help ensure maximum output of the line. Representatives from Klingele Group attended an Open House event hosted by Mitsubishi in Japan prior to the COVID-19 lock-down, where they saw several EVOL.
In addition to the visit, Klingele’s technical team were able to have dialogue with other box companies that operate under the framework of the pan-European alliance for packaging solutions Blue Box Partners. Interestingly, this will be the 14th EVOL casemaker to be installed within the Blue Box Partners, with Hinojosa, Scatolificio Sandra and VPK Group already running multiple lines throughout their businesses.
“We are delighted to receive this order from Dr Jan Klingele and his team, as it will be the first EVOL to be running in the Klingele Group,” explains Bettini. “This order is further testament to the quality and reliability of the machine, having clearly established itself as a leading choice for independent and integrated companies around the world. We look forward to installing the machine early next year.”
