Kenmore chooses Eagle cold foil unit

Eagle Systems, Inc. has confirmed that Kenmore Envelope Company, Inc. has installed an Eagle Cold Foil module on their KBA Rapida 106 LED UV press. The installation was completed in March.

“In just the last few years, we’ve enriched our production capabilities with over $12m of new printing and folding technology,” notes Scott Evans, President and CEO . “We’re dedicated to exceed every other operation’s in-house competencies, ensuring our people have the most efficient and effective tools in the market. Standing out and getting noticed is the critical objective. Now with the Eagle Cold Foil module, Kenmore is elevated to a whole new level, especially in terms of speed to market, color quality, cost-control and pricing.”

“Eagle came highly recommended to us from our long-time distributor Koenig & Bauer,” adds Evans. “We followed Eagle’s industry success for almost a year before we actually reached out to them. After just our second meeting we signed. The installation and training went smoothly and less than a week later we were up and running. Our same press operators are now also our cold foil operators due to the ease-of-use of their system. In a short time, Eagle has become a true partner, someone we can rely on. We are already planning to integrate another press in the future.”

Evans concludes, “Traditionally, personalization, QR codes and other value added enhancements techniques such as embossing, spot UV, soft touch, specialty coatings have been there to help customers stand out. In the past we used Hot Foil, but due to production turnaround and cost issues, only about 5% of our customers were interested. With Eagle cold foil, we’ve got the next great option, really helping clients significantly shine. We’ve only just begun the marketing campaign and yet clients are already wowed. Additionally, we’re also hearing from packaging companies looking to outsource work. Eagle Cold Foil is already paying major dividends.”
