KCUBE competence center for Komori-Chambon

Komori-Chambon took advantage of a turbulent 2020 to prepare for its future with the opening of new headquarters in a 5,000 sqm building, including a large competence centre which offers great opportunities for demonstrations, tests and training.

The company, which designs and manufactures presses for the printing and converting of cartonboard, offers webfed machines which offer a seamless production flow, either in roll-to-roll or in roll-to-blank modes. The business was established as Machines Chambon in 1887 and became part of the Komori group in 1989.

The demonstration area gives the possibility to install production lines with a maximum length of 50m (164 ft). Up to three production lines can be installed in the demo centre, which is 1,500 sqm in size. Offset, gravure and flexo printing processes can be tested in the demo centre.

The KCUBE is the headquarters of the company’s R&D and remote assistance technicians as well. It means that all skills are gathered in one place, which allows a fast communication and efficient support.
