InPrint Colour Expands into Packaging

UK-based InPrint Colour has confirmed the purchase of a Diana GO 85 folder-gluer from Heidelberg which is going to be operational at its premises in November. It is one of the first of many investments that the company is set to make in the upcoming year as part of its expansion into the packaging industry.

The well-established, family-owned printing company based in Yorkshire provides customers with a diverse range of printing services and has recently added offerings in packaging as well. The company is further set to expand on this side of the business during the coming years.

The Diana GO 85 is suitable for materials such as 200-600gsm boards, E flute corrugated sheets and some types of paper stocks. It can run a wide range of carton styles, including straight-line and lock-bottom, as well as envelopes, document wallets, CD sleeves and some special applications, depending on the size of the product and the number of folds.

Established in 1983, InPrint Colour operates from a 1,400 sqm site at Malton and serves customers in Yorkshire and across the UK. They maintain a strong relationship with Heidelberg, exemplified in its use of a Prinect Workflow, a B2 Speedmaster CX 75, as well as a range of Stahlfolder folders in its finishing department.
