The finishing area is one of the fundamental areas of a mill production process. For 20 years, Iggesund UK’s Workington Mill have entrusted Pasaban with the supply and service of some of their equipment that inlcudes a KDD-2600 board sheeter together with an old Jagenberg and a Pasaban board winder. The mill is currently immersed in a machinery renewal process for which they have once again trusted to Pasaban. The plan is to substitute the old equipment for two KB-2300 sheeters with highly automated rotary unwind stands able to process 170-400 gsm folding boxboard (Incada and Ivercote).
