Cumbernauld-based Pitreavie has confirmed the newest piece of machinery is now set up and running – a large format Midas stitching machine from ID Machinery.
“In addition to our initial £4.8m investment in our Cumbernauld box plant, a further £1m has allowed us to invest in a range of extra machinery with more to come throughout the rest of the year, said Scott Alexander, Manufacturing Director. “As demand has increased significantly for stitched corrugated cases, this latest round of investment increases our capacity and capability at our Cumbernauld box plant.”
