The International Corrugated Case Association (ICCA) and the World Containerboard Organisation (WCO) have now opened registration for the 2019 ICCA/WCO Global Summit to be held May 20 – 23, 2019 at The Breakers in Palm Beach, Florida.
The theme for the biennial event is ‘Choose the Planet. Choose Corrugated’. In response to the global conversation surrounding plastic packaging, the theme directly answers the National Geographic June cover question, “Planet or Plastic?” and encourages packaging users to choose the planet and choose paper-based corrugated packaging. Presentations during the general sessions will explore the dynamics of changing supply chains, the impact of e-commerce, and the sustainability of packaging materials.
Fibre Box Association (FBA) will hold its Annual Meeting as a combined event with the Global Summit. There is one registration fee for the event and all program events are open to all attendees.
The Global Summit brings together containerboard and corrugated industry leaders from around the globe. The 2019 event builds on the success of previous Summits held in Sydney, Australia; Tokyo, Japan; Montreal, Quebec, Canada; Paris, France and Taipei, Taiwan/Shanghai, China.
