H&S Window Patcher for Reedbut Group Ltd

Geoff Carter, Sales Director of Heiber + Schröder UK Ltd, has confirmed the company is starting to receive decent levels of interest in the range of window patchers from corrugated converters. The H+S range of machinery is well established in the folding carton industry, but as packaging specifiers look to enhance the appearance of fine flute corrugated packaging, the opportunity to apply windows in corrugated boxes is gathering momentum. One corrugated converter that recently installed an H+S machine was Milton Keynes, UK-based Reedbut Group Ltd.

“We chose the WP1400 Master, as it delivers the ideal combination of productivity and flexibility,” explains Trevor Green, Managing Director of Reedbut Group Ltd. “With its intelligent operating panel comes ease of use and job storage of data. We now react to our customers’ needs with a machine that is smart and flexible and is adapted to the current market trends.”

The WP1400 Master is able to handle cartonboard from 250gsm up to 800gsm and corrugated board up to 5mm. Depending on the blank length, the machine can run at up to 40,000 pieces per hour on one lane (blank length below 265mm) or 12,000 pieces per hour on one lane (blank length over 570mm.

“When it comes to speed and functionality the Master window patching machine leads the market in state-of-the-art technology. Its intelligent operating panel offers the customer extra value by simultaneously being driver and library,” says Geoff Carter. “Heiber + Schröder machines are well known within the packaging industry for their high quality and being made in Germany. Like all H+S machines, the Master range comes with first class service and support, with remote maintenance and on-site assembly.”
