It has been reported that HP is the latest to withdraw from Drupa, which has been re-scheduled to April 2021. Although there is no comment from HP or Drupa, it has been reported in the UK trade press that HP is set to confirm the announcement officially soon.
HP, which is still listed as the largest exhibitor at Drupa, would join companies such as Heidelberg, Bobst, Fujifilm, Kodak and many other companies that have already withdrawn. This could be a significant blow to the embattled every-four-year event, with many companies citing COVID-19 and the impact on travel and free movement within Europe as the main reason for not attending.
