Hood Container Corp has acquired the corrugated packaging business of Sumter, SC based Sumter Packaging Corp. This includes all of Sumter’s design, manufacturing, assembly and fulfilment operations in Sumter, SC as well as the business manufactured and serviced from the Statesville, NC facility.

Hood Container operates locations in seventeen states. The company also owns and operates linerboard, medium, and multiwall paper manufacturing operations in New Johnsonville, TN and St. Francisville, LA.
