Hamburger Containerboard recently held a press conference in Turkey, where it confirmed it is set to invest €300 million in building a greenfield paper mill in Kütahya. The mill will create about 500 new jobs and will produce papers made from OCC.
The new mill will have an annual production capacity of 480,000 tonnes of corrugated base papers and is expected to be completed by 2020. This is the company’s third paper mill in Turkey and its first green field investment.
