Grupo La Plana has confirmed the appointment of José María Forero de Vizcarrondo as Director General, a newly created position established as part of the company’s strategic plan. The new role is intended to strengthen coordination across the business and support the company’s next phase of development.
Forero de Vizcarrondo previously served as Chief Financial Officer and has been a member of the Executive Committee since joining Grupo La Plana in 2022. His appointment reflects the company’s focus on internal talent development and succession planning.
Since joining the group, he has contributed to the development of the business through a strategic, financial and industrial approach focused on operational efficiency, transformation and value creation. In his new role, he will be responsible for supporting the continued development of the company and helping to deliver its strategic objectives.
