Good year for Jarshire

In the 12 months that Jarshire has been representing the well-regarded German company, Corrflexo, the company has experienced a growing demand for Corrflexo’s knives and slotter spares – from both new and existing users.

This could be explained by the high quality, cost-effectiveness and prompt delivery or turnaround of these knives and parts. However, there is much more to it, says the company.  “All products match or exceed OEM requirements; blades are available for all makes of OEM machines and existing customers have reported that Corrflexo knives last much longer than other similar knives on the market which, in turn, reinforces the value-for-money aspect,” says Nick Jobson, Jarshire Corrugating Division director.

One product that has done well this year is the ‘Superior Tungsten Carbide’ slitting knife that is compatible with all corrugating machines.  With a maximum life of six to eight million metres and a mirror finish to protect the blade from glue sticking, its advanced HIP process avoids chipping and breakage.

Jobson says he and brother David, who heads up the Converting Division, pay heed to the Jarshire family philosophy that dates back to 1979: represent the best, give attention to detail and provide 100% back-up and an efficient service to the customer – all contributing to the comfortable fit with the Corrflexo business. Founded in 2006, Corrflexo, based in Solingen, ‘the city of blades’, is a supplier of all kinds of machine knives, grinding wheels, polyurethane rolls and other spare parts used in the corrugated industry.
