Glossop Cartons rebrands to GCP

UK-based Glossop Cartons has confirmed a new name and a major rebrand, aimed at reflecting both the evolution of the business and its vision for the future.

Now named GCP (Glossop Cartons & Print), the Stockport-based converter has unveiled a rebranding strategy to underline its position in the marketplace and to better appeal to its growing customer base.

Wayne Fitzpatrick, Managing Director, explains, “Rebranding as GCP represents how we as a business are evolving. We have grown to become a significant manufacturer in the packaging industry and as we celebrate our 40th year, it was the right time to refresh our brand identity. We have a proud heritage because the foundations of our business have remained consistent and the fundamental beliefs and values that were set out when the business launched back in 1982 still underpin everything we do today.”

Matt Clarke, Head of Sales, added, “While staying true to our core business, we feel our new brand gives us a fresh, modern look. It’s also a statement of intent, clearly identifying our ambition and demonstrating our commitment to quality, value and service.”

The new look will be rolled out across the business and as part of the rebrand, GCP will also be launching a new website gcp-uk.com – which will enhance the company’s online presence and make it more accessible to customers.

As part of its 40th year, GCP is planning further significant investments in equipment, staff and systems to boost productivity and further improve its service to customers.

Fitzpatrick concludes, “We take great pride in what we do, but we must continue to evolve in order to future-proof our business and anticipate the needs of our customers. We are a forward-thinking and responsive manufacturer and these investments will enable us to increase workflow, efficiency and overall productivity to feed market demand.”
