Global Graphics Software, Hybrid Software’s OEM business unit, has confirmed that its Mako Core™ SDK has achieved accreditation from the Ghent Workgroup (GWG) for both its Jaws® renderer and newly launched Apex™ renderer. The certification confirms that both renderers meet the GWG’s rigorous standards for quality, reliability and compliance, enabling users to streamline their workflows, reduce errors and improve efficiency.
The GWG accreditation is based on the Ghent PDF Output Suite 5.0, a set of test files that thoroughly assess the conformity of PDF/X-4 workflows with the PDF/X-4 standard (ISO 15930-7:2010). The files identify potential issues in a PDF workflow with regard to color management, transparency handling, output accuracy and other aspects of PDF/X-4 compliance.
