GL-640 advance EX Edition for Resim Ofset Ambalaj

Resim Ofset Ambalaj, a packaging producer based in Istanbul, has completed the installation of a new Komori GL-640 advance EX Edition press at its production facility, a key step in the company’s ongoing investment in its packaging capabilities.

The installation took place over four weeks, with Komori’s technical team working closely alongside local distributor Aras Grup. Work began with site preparation and foundation setup, followed by machine assembly, calibration, and a series of run-off tests to confirm the press was ready for full production.

“The installation went smoothly from start to finish,” said Özcan Kilimci, Chairman, Resim Ofset Ambalaj. “The team walked us through every stage, and we were impressed with how quickly the press was calibrated and ready to run. Communication was excellent throughout, and anything that came up along the way was handled quickly and professionally.”

Resim Ofset Ambalaj chose the GL-640 advance EX Edition as part of its preparations for the future of packaging. “We want to deliver the highest standards of quality to our customers, while producing in a way that is responsible and sustainable,” said Kilimci.

Hamdi Kaymak, Managing Director, Aras Grup, highlighted the planning behind the project. “Installations like this are as much about preparation as they are about the technology itself. We worked closely with Resim Ofset Ambalaj’s team from the earliest stages to make sure the site, workflow, and staff training were all aligned before the press arrived. That groundwork is what made this such a clean, efficient installation.”

Operator training took place alongside the final stages of commissioning, allowing Resim Ofset Ambalaj’s team to begin running production almost immediately after handover.
