The Flexographic Technical Association (FTA) has announced that it is offering a new education opportunity regarding the printing on corrugated board. The training will be held on March 11 at 2pm EST.
Printing directly on corrugated board can be, at times, subtle and, at other times, not so subtle. But what is it that makes printing on corrugated board so difficult? Unlike printing roll-to-roll or roll-to-sheet, there are many factors that contribute to these challenges — including print surface, large sizes, substrate, inks and plates. Join Geoff Roznak of Further North as he discusses these factors and describes the flexographic printing process for printing on corrugated board. He’ll touch on the distinction between print partners and vendors, and how to utilize FIRST (Flexographic Image Reproduction Specifications & Tolerances) to become a true print champion.
