The Foundation of Flexographic Technical Association (FTA) has formed a strategic partnership with Smithers. The agreement formalises a shared commitment to advancing knowledge, innovation, and commercial opportunity across the flexo industry.
Under the terms of the partnership, Smithers will contribute exclusive content to FLEXO Magazine, the FTA’s publication, bringing members access to authoritative data, insights, and analysis drawn from Smithers’ research. The two organisations will also collaborate on joint webinars and co-ordinated strategic initiatives designed to address key challenges and opportunities facing flexographic printers, converters, ink and substrate suppliers, and brand owners worldwide.
As part of the agreement, the FTA will support Smithers’ growth plans by helping to extend its reach within the flexographic printing community, deepening Smithers’ access with a network of senior industry professionals, decision-makers, and technical experts across North America and beyond.
The partnership reflects the complementary strengths of both organisations. Smithers brings sector expertise and a global perspective, underpinned by decades of primary research into packaging, labels, and printing technologies. The FTA brings community reach, technical education, and industry convening power. Together, they are positioned to deliver greater value to the flexographic printing community at a time of significant technological and market change.
Nathan Ridnouer, President, FTA, said, “This partnership marks a significant step forward for the flexo community, bringing together the FTA’s deep industry connections and Smithers’ world-class market intelligence to deliver real value to our members.”
Adam Page, VP, Reports, Smithers, added, “Flexographic printing is a strategically important sector, and we are delighted to be working alongside the FTA to support the industry with the data and insight it needs to grow.”
