Fosber confirm the appointment of Allan’s Corruquip as its exclusive agent in Southern Africa, covering the Republic of South Africa, Zimbabwe, Namibia, Zambia, Botswana, Mozambique, Swaziland, Lesotho, Malawi, Angola, and Madagascar.
Headed by Charles Garisch, Allan’s Corruquip has been successfully serving the corrugator market in this region for over 25 years, representing several of the leading European suppliers to the industry. This latest appointment of Allan’s Corruquip now brings all brands of the Fosber Group, Tiruña, Quantum and Fosber all under one umbrella in this region. The consolidation and synergy of this operation improves not only the overall presence of the various divisions of the Fosber Group in this market, but it significantly expands and strengthens local customer support in this region.
The Fosber, Quantum and Tiruña divisions all operate today as a much more integrated and managed entity across the Fosber Group. The Quantum speciality corrugator and Wavy single faced sheeter line have both now adopted a great deal of Fosber technology – not only to improve performance but also to benefit from common parts & technology for a stronger and much more unified overall customer support. At Tiruña, there has been heavy investment in new corrugator roll production machinery and organisational restructuring, resulting in increased output and quality plus a highly effective and reactive new customer care department.

Riaan van Niekerk, the South African based technician for Allan’s Corruquip, has for many years provided close local technical supported for Quantum and Agnati installed machinery. Currently undergoing intensive technical training at Fosber’s HQ in Italy, van Niekerk will shortly be in a position to provide the same level of local technical support also on Fosber machinery. Furthermore, Allan’s Corruquip will also allocate storage space at its facilities in Cape Town for Fosber to create a locally held spare parts depot service.
