The Spanish Font Packaging Group recently invested in a new three colour Macarbox Flexo Folder Gluer 1676/3600 with inline stitcher, in line with its commitment to purchase technology that fully aligns with their ECOpack initiative.
With this new machinery, Font Packaging Group increases production capacity and establishes itself as a highly versatile company, being able to cover the widest range of solutions with packaging from microflute to triplewall industrial boxes.
The Marcabox FFG 1676/3600 is a state- of-the-art line capable of achieving the highest efficiency in all aspects including energy efficiency, aiding Font Packaging Group in their commitment to the UN agenda and its Sustainable Development Goals.
Font Packaging Group specifically looked for a supplier whose values were based on: innovation, efficiency and sustainability. In addition, Marcabox is based in Guipúzcoa, Spain so the transport and installation of the machine has minimal implications in terms of the carbon footprint and CO2 released to the atmosphere.
This new production machine will be housed in the Font2 plant as part of the company’s expansion. 2020 has proved to be a year of growth and changes with the opening of the Font Innovation Center, the launch of Font3, the acquisition of a new logistics centre, new offices and the integration of all the administrative staff in Font2.
