Ekotar will be the first corrugated production facility in the Republic of Dagestan as part of a 320 million ruble investment to bring opportunities and jobs to the area. The construction of the plant, located on 5 hectare in the Uytash industrial park in Kaspiysk, has already been completed and commissioning is underway.
“If everything goes according to plan, then in the next month or two we will be able to open the facility,” said Nizam Khalilov, Minister of Industry and Trade of Dagestan. The planned capacity of the plant is up to 20 million sqm of corrugated board per year.
