CONPRINTA’s Print and Varnishing System – PVS – has been developed as an extension specially for roll print machines and combines the advantage of digital printing with the potential of flexo printing.
The PVS is equipped with patented Belt Technology which permits printing in various repeat lengths up to 3.3 m (130 inch) without changing plate cylinders or sleeves. A non-stretchable film referred to as a ‘Belt’ is the permanent medium for the flexographic printing plates. The plates remain on the belt, no remounting, no sleeve or cylinder inventory, extremely fast change over.
The installation of the first PVS will be at a customer site in the USA, at the beginning of 2024.
