Pro Carton and the European Carton Makers Association has confirmed that the European Carton Excellence Award 2026 is now open for entries with a new entry category to mark its’ 30th anniversary.
The award invites partners from across the supply chain to showcase their most ingenious and exceptional cartonboard designs. Attracting leading suppliers, manufacturers, and designers from across Europe, some of the best sustainable packaging designs to date have been a part of this award.
The 2026 categories are:
- Confectionery & Chocolate
- Beverage (Including Alcohol)
- Pharma & Health Care
- Food (Including Food Service/Convenience/Pet Food)
- Beauty & Cosmetics
- General Packaging
- New for 2026: The Art of Cartonboard
In addition, entrants can also choose to enter the Sustainability and/or Innovation Award. Each entry is automatically entered into the Public Award. Entrants may choose to opt-out if they wish. The most innovative entry will be awarded with the prestigious Carton of the Year Award. The deadline for entries is 15th May 2026, with the sample deadline 2nd June 2026.
