Once again, Hinojosa Packaging Group has obtained the EcoVadis Gold Medal for its positive impact in the area of sustainability. It ranks in the top 5% of companies assessed on the platform due to its environmental, social, and corporate governance policies.
This internationally renowned award recognises Hinojosa’s efforts and assesses its projects and achievements over 2022, centred on promoting the common good through sustainable packaging solutions and adding maximum value to its clients products.
Hinojosa, in the process of international expansion, has again scored 71/100, excelling once more in the area of environmental care due to the reduction of carbon emissions and many sustainable actions, such as a 93.6% waste recovery rate and the use of more than 63% of energy from renewable sources. This assessment corresponds to Hinojosa’s practices in 2022, as outlined in the Sustainability report, which records other milestones achieved over the year, such as joining the UN Global Compact and being granted an award for the management model based on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG).
