eCorrugated invests in two new EMBA’s to expand box production

eCorrugated Ltd has confirmed an investment in two new EMBA casemakers to increase its manufacturing capacity for high-volume corrugated packaging.

The investment will expand the company’s production capabilities for FEFCO 0201 glued cases, with the new equipment offering up to four-colour printing. The two machines are both being supplied by EMBA, including a QS 245 Ultima and a QS 175 Ultima.

Paul Lavelle, Managing Director, eCorrugated, noted, “The additional capacity will support increased production volumes and faster turnaround times for customers in the FMCG, e-commerce and distribution sectors. The new machinery will also enable the company to produce multi-colour printed corrugated cases, supporting demand for both transit packaging and branded packaging applications.”

Based in Ellesmere Port, Cheshire, eCorrugated specialises in the trade supply of high-volume corrugated cases and corrugated sheets, serving customers across the UK and Ireland. The investment forms part of the company’s ongoing development of its manufacturing operations, with a focus on increasing production efficiency and capacity.
