Spain-based Grupo La Plana has recently confirmed an investment of more than €14m, for an automated vertical warehouse in its production plant in Onda.
“This is a state-of-the-art infrastructure investment that will allow us to triple the storage capacity of finished product, free up space for new production lines and gain even more agility and reliability in the service we offer our customers,” said the company in a statement. “This warehouse, at 36m high and with a capacity for 13,500 pallets of finished product, is a milestone in our industrial evolution and reinforces our commitment to innovation, logistics excellence and an increasingly sustainable, efficient and competitive production model, prepared to accompany the growth of the sector and respond to the needs of the market.”
