Durham Box has recently worked with the Herbal Dog Co, to create the ultimate pet treat this Christmas – a luxury dog advent calendar. The limited edition festive pack, which was produced on Durham Box’s EFI Nozomi single-pass LED inkjet digital press, contains a variety of products to keep a pooch happy all year round.
In developing the pack, Durham Box used an E-flute board, the substrate providing good protection with a high-quality print finish and 100% recyclability. To facilitate the clean opening of the calendar’s 12 days of Christmas windows, speedy tear perforations provide accurate tear lines throughout the product, thereby ensuring easy access without comprising the pack’s strength. With the Nozomi being perfect for producing short-run campaigns and regional promotions, the product was primed and printed in a glossy effect finish, to accentuate the festive playful graphics.
“This is the first advent calendar, so we were keen to make sure that everything went according to plan – Durham Box didn’t disappoint,” said Herbal Dog Co’s, Hazel Kelly. “As a local company to us, we started using them during the pandemic and we have since established an excellent working relationship. Sally was great, fetched us samples to help with the design and kept us up to date, with no issues. We absolutely love the calendar and will be using Durham Box again in the near future.”
