Dunapack Packaging enters into an agreement with Stora Enso to take over its German packaging plants

Dunapack Packaging, part of the Austrian Prinzhorn Group, has entered into an agreement with Stora Enso to take over its German corrugated packaging operations. The transaction is subject to merger clearance with an expected closing in the course of 2026.

The transaction comprises the companies Gaster Wellpappe, Wellpappe Sausenheim and PTI including its facilities in Southwestern Germany. With around 350 employees, a turnover of approximately €74m was achieved in 2025.
