Dunapack Eurobox opts for BHS Corrugated

Dunapack Packaging – the corrugated division of the Austria-based Prinzhorn Group – has confirmed that is to invest in a second corrugated box plant for Poland, in the town of Lubliniec. The start-up is planned for mid 2018, with a short ramp up curve for production to satisfy the growing demand of the Polish customer base.

To ensure the smooth operation from day one, BHS Corrugated was selected to supply a 2.8m Volume Line corrugator. Featuring the latest wet-end developments from BHS Corrugated, the machine will allow Dunapack Eurobox to produce excellent quality sheets of corrugated board for the market, with great flexibility thanks to the high levels of automation. The aim of the project is to duplicate and outperform the success of the Dunapack Eurobox plant in Ujazd, where BHS Corrugated was also selected as machine supplier back in 2003.

For Dunapack Packaging, this will be the 10th corrugator in the group from BHS Corrugated; for the machine manufacturer, this will be the 20th complete corrugator delivered to Poland. The project which was signed on 3rd June, 2017 at the headquarter of Dunapack Group in Vienna.
