DS Smith rank highly in S&P Sustainability Yearbook

The 2023 edition of the S&P Sustainability Yearbook has ranked DS Smith alongside some of the world’s best performing companies for corporate sustainability.

Ranking 73 in the S&P Corporate Sustainability Assessment, up six points since last year, places us ahead of the average score of 32 in the Containers and Packaging industry. Full marks were awarded for environmental reporting and operational eco-efficiency, while above industry average scores were achieved across several categories including climate strategy, water-related risks, product stewardship, occupational health and safety and human rights.

“At DS Smith our ambition is to put sustainability at the heart of everything we do and recognition in this way by S&P Global is a true testament of that,” said Wouter van Tol, Head of Sustainability and Community Affairs, DS Smith.
