Almost a year since its Leicester site installed a similar machine, Boxes & Packaging has added a Dong Fang Topra AD1632 to its converting department at the Birmingham site.

The latest machine is the seventh in the Logson Group, joining those at Boxes and Packaging Leicester, Doncaster, Manchester, Bristol, and two at Jardin sites in Cambridge and Sutton
“With improved efficiencies in terms of setting times and production capabilities, the new machine will assist in giving extra capacity to integrate into future growth plans for the site,” continues Gosling. “Capable of handling a maximum sheet size of 3.2m, depending on the design, and 10,000 sheets per hour, its capabilities suit the workload at Birmingham perfectly. Dong Fang offers great reliability, and we are looking forward to seeing what it can achieve and the additional capacity it will provide comes at just the right time as we approach peak. It will also allow us to continue to grow our customer base and offer bespoke packaging solutions to an even greater range of businesses.”
