It has been reported that Heinzel will continue to produce SC Paper on its PM 11 at the Laakirchen mill in Austria until the end of Q2 2024, before commencing work on the previously announced rebuild to run containerboard.
The company said the production of recycled containerboard on PM 11 has now been scheduled to commence in September 2024 after the rebuild, later than anticipated when it made the original announcement. Heinzel said it will continue to supply SC paper to its customer base, as the market for containerboard is going through a tough period of trading at the moment.
