The Wellpappenfabrik GmbH in Grünstadt-Sausenheim (WSG) and De Jong Packaging Group (DJPG) have created a strategic partnership. DJPG has acquired a majority share of WSG, which will keep the control over daily operations. Because of the acquisition, DJPG will strengthen its position in the German market and WSG will have a stronger position in the German market with the backup from DJPG.
WSG offers a complete range of customer specific packaging and has a central location and therefore fits very well in the growth strategy of DJPG. “The new partnership with WSG is a big step for our development as a packaging group. The entrepreneurial philosophy of our family companies match and the future potential is there,” said Ad Smit, CEO, DJPG.
