De Jong Verpakking is set to expand its warehousing, taking on the entire DC1 in the Harnaschpolder business park, consisting of 15,257 sqm of warehouse, 370 sqm of office space and 1,566 sqm of mezzanine. This warehouse includes 4,233 sqm of outdoor area.
The company confirmed that its production factory in De Lier will remain the main location, but this location will be used as additional storage space.
Smartlog The Hague is located on the Harnaschpolder business park in Den Hoorn, strategically positioned in relation to the airports of Schiphol and The Hague-Rotterdam, the port of Rotterdam and the Westland. The Harnaschpolder business park was established in 2014 by the municipalities of Midden-Delfland, The Hague and Delft and has good connections to the national road network. This makes it a strategic location with good roads. In this way, De Jong Packaging’s customers can be delivered quickly.
This is the latest move from the Dutch packaging group, which most recently acquired the majority of the shares in UK-based eCorrugated Ltd.
