DS Smith is strengthening its Danish organisation, with the promotion of Dan Johannessen, who will take over as Cluster Director and CEO of DS Smith Packaging Denmark.
Johannessen (pictured left) has in recent months been the Site Manager at DS Smith in Grenaa, but now has the overall responsibility for DS Smith in Denmark.
“With his many years of Nordic experience and insight into the industry, Dan Johannessen has the right profile to ensure DS Smith’s development and transition to the circular economy,” says Thorbjörn Sagerström, Managing Director – Nordic Region, DS Smith.
“DS Smith are helping to push the entire industry in the right direction with its ambitious climate goals as well as the strategic focus on circular economy. I look forward to DS Smith in Denmark continuing as a beacon for the industry,”says Johannessen.
