C&T reassures customers of its continuity in service and product supply

Following the UK government’s announcement to apply further restrictions on the movement of people and to increase isolation, C&T Channel Matrix (C&T) has taken action to ensure continuity of its service and product supply.

Simon Shenton, Managing Director at C&T Matrix said, “We recognise the important role that C&T and its customers play in supporting the packaging, food and pharmaceutical industries at this challenging time. The health and safety of our employees and their families is our primary concern. We have therefore adopted a number of temporary policies in order to continue to support all our stakeholders throughout this period.”

These temporary policies are:

  • No external visitors are permitted onto site;
  • Personnel will be working from home, where possible, with immediate effect;
  • Vulnerable staff with underlying health issues have been asked not return to work until further notice;
  • Any staff with suspected COVID-19 symptoms should self-isolate as per NHS guidelines;
  • Preventive actions are applied at C&T’s production site with strict procedures in place to cover working arrangements, minimising physical contact and ensuring good hand hygiene and cleaning regimes.

Shenton continues, “C&T presently remains fully operational and all sales enquiries and orders are being processed as normal using the usual contact numbers and emails. Any technical queries or support will be dealt with remotely. Our manufacturing remains fully operational to service our profile rubber and creasing matrix orders. We have increased the level of finished stock for our other consumables products so customers can remain confident in our ability to fulfil orders for the foreseeable future. Our team is on hand to reassure and support your business during this critical time. We will strive to continue satisfying your needs and we thank you for your ongoing support. Should you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me directly on [email protected].”
