BP Agnati has confirmed the successful installation of a new Vantage corrugator at UAB Smurfit Kappa Baltic in Vilnius, Lithuania. Installed in December and commissioned earlier this year, the factory was a sheet plant prior to the installation of the BP Agnati line. Thanks to the strong growth of the region and the increased sales and production of this plant, the decision to invest in a complete corrugator was taken a year ago.

“The Vantage corrugator has a working width of 2.5m and a speed of 350m per min,” explains Michael Schmiedt, Sales Director, BP Agnati. “The corrugator is equipped with the latest generation dry-end and the wet-end is equipped with the V-S90 Single Facer, as this single facer is one of the most common machines in the Smurfit Kappa Group. This successful installation represents the renewed confidence of Smurfit Kappa in BP Agnati as a supplier for complete high speed corrugators,” concludes Schmiedt.
