UK based paper and material supplier, Premier, have confirmed the opening of a new stock holding branch based in Wellingborough.
Premier, who have long promoted their nationwide network of stock holding branches and sales offices, have recently moved operations from their Northampton branch to a brand new, state-of -the-art facility in Stanton Cross, Wellingborough.
Servicing the local area with a fleet of nine vehicles, Premier’s new premises features a 45,000 sq ft warehouse that has a capacity of over 4,000 pallets.
Chris Stanyon, Operations Director, comments, “The new Wellingborough site is a significant investment and demonstrates Premier’s commitment to the future. Not only does it improve and enhance our ability to service customers both locally and around the UK it has also created a number of local job opportunities. The new branch also has state of the art meeting facilities and electric car charging points, which, given the site’s proximity to major road networks, means that it will become a hub for some of Premier’s commercial activity.”
