Holland, MI-based Coastal Container has recognized its former Director of Sales with a promotion to General Manager. Nate Hoekstra has worked for Coastal Container for the past 13 years, predominantly in sales, and during that time he has helped build a company that serves customers with increased efficiency, speed, automation and ultimate dependability.

Contemplating the future of Coastal Container, Hoekstra is excited about the advocacy for locally owned, locally operated organizations. “Governor Whitmer and Lt. Governor Gilchrist are seeking to incentivize doing business with and amongst Michigan-based companies. A focus on ‘Made in Michigan’, with us being the major manufacturer fitting that bill in our marketplace, will help us carve out our piece of an expansive market,” says Hoekstra.
