CK International have confirmed its customer has cut transport costs and producing mill-size bales, with the installation of the CKSR16 Channel Press Baler – complete with conveyance and a shredder, elevating this site’s cardboard recycling process.
“I am delighted to have been part of this CKSR16 project,” said Gavin Conlon, Retail Sector Sales Manager, CK International. “When the customer first approached us they were using a standard compactor for their cardboard waste. Losing out on rebate and incurring huge transport costs. Once we done the numbers we realised site would be producing up 2 tonnes per hour. From this point the CKSR16 Channel Press Baler was identified as the best solution for the customer. The baler was designed along with internal conveyance and a shredder for oversized cardboard- all manufactured and installed by CK International. The customer is now producing fantastic mill-size bales, increasing their rebate per tonne and reducing their transport and labour costs.”
