CITO has expanded its portfolio with the launch of CITOSOL ACTIVE, a new high-performance cleaner designed for cutting plates and machine components used in corrugated board and folding carton production.
It combines strong cleaning performance with fast evaporation and process reliability, while offering a formulation that is not subject to mandatory hazard labelling under the Classification, Labelling and Packaging (CLP) Regulation.
The cleaner can be used to clean and degrease cutting plates, remove adhesive residues and labels, and clean machine components. It effectively removes adhesives, oils, grease, resins, waxes and other contaminants, leaving surfaces clean and ready for further processing.
The cleaner’s evaporation properties help minimise downtime by allowing components to be returned to service quickly without leaving residues. The product activates the surface during cleaning, improving the adhesion of tapes, coatings and printed materials.
Featured highlights are its high cleaning performance, rapid evaporation, pleasant odour and increased safety during storage and handling, as it is not classified as a hazardous substance under the CLP Regulation. It has also received ISEGA certification, making it suitable for applications where compliance with food industry requirements is important.
With the introduction, Cito says it is further developing its range of cleaning products to provide users with an effective solution that supports safe handling and reliable production processes.
